Educate and motivate their dental health journey

At Smile Sanctuary, we are dedicated to nurturing children’s smiles and their overall dental health. Our mission is to ensure that every child feels confident in their smile, and that we promote dental education from a young age to set the foundations for years to come.

We believe that educating children from an early age about dental health is essential. By teaching them the advantages of looking after their teeth and gums, we empower them to take responsibility for their oral hygiene.

  • Friendly Atmosphere: Ensuring our practice is a comforting place where children feel at ease.
  • Interactive Learning: Using fun and engaging activities to teach children about dental health.
  • Parental Involvement: Working closely with parents to reinforce good dental habits at home.

We believe that early intervention is paramount to reduce the severity of future orthodontic concerns. With the use of 3D imaging software, dento-facial aspects can be assessed to determine the prediction of orthodontic concerns.

We at Smile Sanctuary want to support you and your children reach their maximum genetic potential for growth and development of their face, jaws and teeth.

Healthy Eating

A balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals can help prevent cavities and gum disease. Calcium-rich foods strengthen enamel, while vitamin C promotes gum health. Limiting sugar is important as it fuels plaque-causing bacteria. Drinking water aids in washing away food particles and boosts saliva production, protecting against decay.

Brush Twice Daily

Brushing teeth twice a day is crucial for children's oral hygiene, helping to prevent cavities and gum disease. Parents can make this routine enjoyable by incorporating songs or timers, while also supervising younger children to teach them proper techniques. Establishing this habit early not only promotes healthy teeth but also encourages lifelong dental care practices.

Healthy Drinking

Promoting healthy drinking habits in children is essential for their overall wellbeing and dental health. Encouraging water consumption and providing milk can help reduce the risk of cavities and strengthen teeth. Additionally, limiting sugary beverages and teaching children to use straws can further protect their dental health.

Floss Daily

Flossing daily is vital for kids as it helps maintain good oral hygiene by cleaning areas between teeth that brushing misses. This practice not only removes food particles and plaque but also prevents cavities and gum disease, promoting long-term dental health. To encourage kids, parents can make flossing enjoyable with colourful floss picks or reward charts, fostering a positive habit that contributes to their overall well-being.
